Jon Stenz is a senior Public Relations major at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He is currently the Regional Conference Director. He has served on the William P. Ehling Chapter’s e-board for the last two years as the VP of Finance and Co-Director of Development. Jon has gained hands-on experience in both the sports and entertainment industries, interning at Press Here Publicity in New York City and WFAN Sports Radio 66, a New York affiliate of CBS Radio.
Devon Braunstein is a senior public relations major at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with minors in marketing and political science. She is the vice president of logistics for the PRSSA William P. Ehling chapter's regional conference committee. She also serves as a communications intern at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management and peer advisor for Newhouse freshmen. Devon's past experience ranges from interning with GE and various midsize PR agencies to leading her own PR accounts on campus. She encourages all PR and communications students alike to sign up for CuseCon!
Carley Weinstein is the chapter president of the William P. Ehling Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. A Long Island native and public relations major in the Newhouse School, Carley is very excited to be a part of Cuse Con and spread the Orange love. She encourages PRSSA members from all over to seriously consider attending CuseCon for an unforgettable weekend full of professional development and networking.
Lasse Loeber Jepsen holds a B.A. in French and Corporate Communications from Aarhus University, Denmark. He is currently earning a master’s degree in public relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. His particular areas of interest
within PR are media and investor relations, as well as reputation management. Lasse is a huge soccer fan – he enjoys watching European games and playing as forward for the Newhouse Seagulls.
Tyler Flynn is a public relations graduate student at the Newhouse School of Public Communications. He attained his Bachelor's degree at Liberty University with a major in journalism and minor in government. His area of interest is entertainment PR and he plans to work in New York City or Los Angeles following graduation. An avid comic book fan, his dream is to work at Marvel Studios. Outside of schoolwork, he enjoys reading, weightlifting, video games and creating original video and written reviews of his favorite TV show, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" on his blog.
Francesca Capotorto is a senior public relations major with a minor in management. She is vice president of communications for the William P. Ehling Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, where she is responsible for managing the chapter’s blog and website. She is also a Global Ambassador for SU Study Abroad, a Newhouse Peer Adviser and works in the Newhouse programming office. Francesca’s experience includes internships with the New York State Assembly, the City of Rochester Mayor’s Office and the American Cancer Society. She plans to pursue a career in public affairs and government relations.
Ashley Matousek is a dual major in Public Relations and Spanish with a minor in Marketing. She is excited and honored to be serving on the CuseCon committee as a sophomore. On campus, she also participates in Noticias, the only Spanish student run newscast in the nation. Ashley's other experiences include editing and managing blogs for Camp Broadway and being a member of Edge here at Syracuse. In the future she hopes to join an acapella group, as well as a sorority.
Suvesha Vengatesh is a public relations graduate student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She is a May 2013 graduate of Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science in India. She has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a postgraduate diploma in international business. She worked at Teknoturf Info Services from 2012 to 2013 as a soft skills trainer specializing in verbal and written communication and team building. She is interested in pursuing a career in investor relations or agency PR.
Lyle Weston is a sophomore public relations student at Syracuse University. He is the VP of Hospitality for CuseCon where he is responsible for booking hotels for students, advisors, and speakers, arranging parking, and managing food and food service throughout the conference. Lyle is also an account executive for Hill Communications and an active member of the executive board for the William P. Ehling Chapter of PRSSA as a co-coordinator of development.
Britni Coe is a senior public relations major at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a minor in policy studies. Britni is the Assistant Director of Human Resources for Hill Communications, Newhouse’s student-run PR firm, where she is responsible for the recruitment and retention of quality Hill Communications employees. She is also a social media intern for the National Foundation to End Senior Hunger. Britni's past includes developing and implementing the BE Wise campaign, an award-winning campaign at 2013 PRSSA National Conference, in addition to interning at Aramark’s Corporate HQ in Philadelphia. In the future, Britni hopes to pursue a career in healthcare communications.
